Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce that NAMS 2010 will be a first-ever joint meeting of the North American Membrane Society and the International Conference on Inorganic Membranes.  The meeting will be held Washington, D.C., on July 17-22, 2010 at the Oriental Mandarin Hotel, located within easy walking distance of the National Mall.   As organizers of the meeting, we invite you to participate.

The theme of the meeting is  embranes: Enabling a Sustainable Future.  An exciting technical program is in place that emphasizes recent developments in polymeric and inorganic membranes as well as highlights the role of membrane science and technology in environmental applications and alternative energy sources.  Two distinguished speakers will give plenary talks relating to the meeting theme.

The meeting will be global in scope and offer exceptional opportunities for networking among individuals from industry, government, and academia.
